Jonathan Howarth's Bray Hill crash

Not a place you want it to go wrong

What's Bray Hill on a Superbike? 160, 170mph? The fact that 'only' ten people were injured and no-one was killed when Jonathan Howarth came off his superbike on the opening lap of the Senior TT is a minor miracle. The viewing areas were packed.

These images show it going wrong and also what was left of his bike. Five of the ten injured have been discharged. Best wishes for a full recovery to those still in Noble's Hospital.

When you look at this picture, the packed viewing areas and what's left of the bike, well, it's a minor miracle no-one died when Jonathan Howarth crashed on the opening lap of his year's Senior TT.

Five of the ten people admitted to Noble's have now been discharged. Here's hoping for a full recovery for those still receiving care.
