Aston Martin and Brough Superior launch road-legal AMB 002 Roadster

After revealing the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro superbikes, Aston Martin and Brough have now launched their first-ever road-legal motorcycle, the AMB 002 Roadster.

The new model is the result of Aston Martin’s continued collaboration with luxury motorcycle maker, Brough Superior. 

What makes the AMB 002 Roadster special is that it's the first bike of its kind from Aston Martin and Brough Superior.

It has been built from the ground up, and unlike the AMB 001 and Pro motorcycles, which share many similarities, the Roadster takes on a whole different look.

The new model is limited to just 300 units worldwide, with first deliveries expected during the third quarter of 2027.

Based on that information, we could expect to see the AMB 002 Roadster land in the hands of customers next summer. 

At the heart of the Roadster is an all-new 1,083cc water-cooled V-Twin that produces 130 bhp and 81 Ib-ft of torque. 

The engine is housed by a titanium frame which is one of the bike’s standout features, as the entire unit weighs just 5kg thanks to its solid billet design.  

The new model is unmistakably Aston Martin on the outside, however, it has been designed, machined and assembled in-house at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, France.

Full of unique touches, the AMB 002 Roadster also features a distinctive double-wishbone ‘Fior fork’ front suspension. The Fior design works by separating steering and braking forces, allowing the rider to have more control over the front-end.

This is an evolution of the system found aboard the AMB 001 Pro, and it includes anti-dive technology, which offers “exceptional stability under braking”, according to Aston Martin.

The motorcycle also features carbon fibre body panels, plus carbon fibre parts across the fuel tank. 

Finally, the new bike features a selection of rear light units that are the same type as the ones housed by the Aston Martin Vulcan, Valkyrie and Valhalla hypercars. 

Keyless functionality is also included, as is a backlit ignition button and hand-crafted leather seat pads.

Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, said this about the company’s first road-legal motorcycle:
