Honda CB1000GT lands second straight month as a UK best-seller
Honda’s new CB1000GT has become a UK best-seller for the second straight month, while the company’s GB350S continued its dominance over the modern classic segment in August.

Honda’s reputation as one of the most popular motorcycle brands in the UK has been proved true yet again, with four very different models claiming top spot in their individual segments, in August.
Leading the way was the CB1000GT, which secured top spot in the adventure segment for the second straight month.

Honda’s new sports tourer debuted at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, and over the summer months it has proved to be just as popular with British riders as the GB350S.
For the month of August, a total of 164 units were sold across the UK - 100 more than the GB350S, according to statistics provided by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA).

Despite the significant difference between both models, the GB350S remains the preferred choice for modern classic customers in Britain. A total of 212 units were sold in June, which was then followed by another 137 units across July.
When it comes to the naked segment, the Honda CB125F continued its unrelenting pace with a chart-topping 113 sales.
This figure is down compared to both July and June, where it sold 185 and 164 units, respectively. That being said, the CB125F remains a firm favourite for those taking their first steps into motorcycling.
A common theme between all three segments is that overall sales were up compared to the same month in 2025.
Sales across the adventure, modern classic and naked segments are also positive year-to-date, with the touring category being the only one that’s trending in the wrong direction.

In August, Honda’s NT1100 topped the category’s sales chart for the first time since March, although it did so with only 24 units which was the lowest number across any segment.
