Triumph Originals voting opens with all seven Scrambler builds revealed
One of seven custom creators will be crowned winner of the 2026 Triumph Originals contest, which is nearing its completion after the British manufacturer confirmed voting is now open.
Seven custom-built Triumph Scrambler motorcycles have been revealed as part of the company’s 2026 Originals competition.
The winner will be announced later this year, with entrants from the UK, Canada, China, France, Spain, Italy, and the US, all in contention.
Voting has now opened, with the public able to choose their favourite build on the Triumph website. However, voting will only be open until 1pm on September 22.
Public votes will be combined with voting from a team of expert judges, which includes Steve Sargent, Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Product Officer.
It also features Chase McQueen, who is the grandson of Steve McQueen, bestselling author Eric Hendricx, co-founder and lead mechanic of the legendary Fonk Motorcycles in Japan, Satoshi, and German motorcycle journalist Rolf Henniges, who is the founder of FUEL magazine.
The theme for this year’s competition was ‘Time Capsule’, allowing creators to pick a defining era or decade where scrambler motorcycles stood out.
From there, the brief included building a motorcycle that captures the attitude of a scrambler through modern design and craftsmanship.
Four different motorcycles from Triumph’s range were chosen by the seven participants, with Motos Illimitées (Canada) and FCR Original (France) opting for the Scrambler 1200 XE.
China’s BVL Garage selected a Scrambler 900 for its 2026 build, as did Stockwell Design from the UK.
Led by Charlie Stockwell, the UK entry focuses on scrambler heritage from the 1960s and 70s, with Stockwell saying: “It’s a bike that looks like it's spent its time traveling around the world and then come back home to England, rising through muddy lanes. It’s a moment in time, captured and made relevant for today.”
Finally, Triumph Columbia River (US) chose a Scrambler 1200 X for its build, while Spain’s Tamarit Motorcycles, and Italy’s South Garage Motor Co, selected Scrambler 400 XC for their one-off build.
