Valencia track guide with Dani Pedrosa

A walkthrough of the Ricardo Tormo circuit from the fast Spaniard

Before the final round of the 2011 MotoGP championship at Valencia this weekend, Dani Pedrosa has given his advice on tackling the 9 left-hand and 5 right-hand corners that make up the Ricardo Tormo circuit.

Pedrosa thinks that the Valencian track is one of the most demanding and technical that MotoGP visits, with two key areas that require a rider to pay particular attention to; corner 4, as it is the first right-hander and corners 9-through-10, as it is one of the most difficult points on the lap.

For racing action, Valencia offers several overtaking opportunities. Pedrosa's key points for passing maneuvers are the Mick Doohan corner (2), corner 8 and the final bend going onto the main straight.

With five victories at the circuit - one from 125s, two in 250 and MotoGP - the Spaniard goes into the final round battling with Andrea Dovizioso for third in the championship, the Italian has a four point advantage over Dani.
