Royal Enfield sees 22% sales jump over last year
Thanks in part to booming exports, Royal Enfield’s June 2025 sales saw a 22-percent increase over the same period last year.

Royal Enfield continues to go from strength to strength, with the India manufacturer reporting a 22-percent increase in year-over-year (YoY) sales for June 2025. Much of that boost comes from an explosion in exports.
According to reporting released by Royal Enfield this week, the manufacturer sold some 89,540 motorcycles around the world last month. Compare that to, say, the 54,495 motorcycles that Ducati sold over the whole of 2024. Royal Enfield is a big fish.
Of course, most of its swimming is done in its home market. Of those 89,540 motorcycles sold in June 2025, more than 85 percent of them - 76,957 bikes - were sold in India. On those grounds, the company’s gains over the same period in 2024 were pretty strong. In June 2024, Royal Enfield sold 66,117 bikes in its domestic market. That means June 2025’s numbers represent a 16.4 percent YoY increase.
Where the numbers really get impressive is when you look at export sales. In June 2025, Royal Enfield sold 12,583 motorcycles in the export market - ie, everywhere that’s not India. Compare that against 7,024 export bikes sold in June 2024 and you get a stunning increase of 79.14 percent.

“Our motorcycles continued to perform well not just in India but in several key global markets, driven by a growing community of riders who resonate with our brand and purpose,” said Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan. “We are confident of the growth momentum and are looking forward to building on this growth with a sharp focus on innovation, quality, and delivering a pure motorcycling experience.”
Royal Enfield has experienced remarkable growth over the past decade and shows no signs of resting on its laurels. Just in the last few weeks we’ve learned about two new models expected to arrive at or before EICMA: the Himalayan 750 and “Him-E” electric Himalayan. It’s hard to imagine that the company will just stop there.
Meanwhile, as of the end of June 2025, year-to-date sales sit at 265,528 motorcycles sold, representing a YoY growth of 17.02 percent over 2024.
