Yamaha MT-07 and Tenere 700 models get new protection parts from GBRacing
GBRacing has confirmed a new release of protection parts for Yamaha’s MT-07 and Tenere 700 models, including a clutch cover.

Yamaha’s MT-07 and Tenere 700 models can now be upgraded thanks to several new protection parts released by GBRacing, all of which are already available to buy.
Both new for 2025, the MT-07 and Tenere 700 can be modified with an alternator cover (£79), a clutch cover that’s priced at £93, a water pump cover (£63), and a water pipe cover (£76). Additionally, you can get the alternator and clutch cover as a set for £163.93.
The parts can be fitted to both the MT-07 and MT-07 Y-AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) bikes, while owners of the Tenere 700 and Rally 700 models can also benefit from the updated protection package.
Yamaha's CP2-powered models continue to prove popular in today’s sub-800cc market, with more than 200,000 MT-07s sold since making their debut in 2014, and 70,000 Tenere models since 2019.
Of the two Yamaha models, the MT-07 has gone through the biggest update in 2025, receiving a new chassis that features thicker frame tubes to give it more rigidity over the previous model.

The suspension has been upgraded through USD forks that work alongside radial brakes at the front, while the swingarm is also brand-new.

Changes to the Tenere include a new ride-by-wire throttle, suspension adjustments at the front and rear, and a larger TFT screen with navigational functionality and Bluetooth phone connectivity.
Like the standard model, the Tenere Rally gets KYB suspension, although it’s a fully adjustable front fork set-up. Further updates to the Rally model include new footpegs, a high-level front mudguard, and a heavy-duty skid plate.
In terms of these new parts available across all four bikes, GBRacing said: “It gave us the opportunity to create a new aesthetic to suit these updated Yamaha models and to employ elements of the R&D from working alongside the factory Yamaha teams in WorldSBK.”
The brand-new products can either be bought through the official GBRacing website or authorised dealers.
