Limited edition AD Koncept Suzuki GSX-S950 R announced

A limited-edition Suzuki GSX-S950 created by AD Koncept is to go on sale in France, with just 50-units up for grabs

GSX-S950-Limited-Edition

OUR neighbours across the channel have bagged themselves another France-only special this month, as AD Koncepts and Suzuki team up to create the GSX-S950 R.

Commissioned specifically for the French market, the bikes are limited to just 50-units and will be getting officially unveiled at the French MotoGP round next weekend. The price is said to be a fairly reasonable €11,549, making it around €1,500 more than the stocker!

To create the otherworldy-looking motorcycle, AD Koncepts took the stock GSX-S950 and a stack of off-the-shelf aftermarket parts. They then mixed in some bespoke plastic and carbon fibre elements, bolted on an Akrapovic slip-on, and gave it a rather striking paintjob finished in black, silver and gold. The bike is converted to a single-seat offering with the pillion seat being shortened to give the bike a more aggressive look.

Beneath the skin though, the bike is thought to be standard, although it’s fair to assume the slip-on exhaust not only looks better than the stock, it’ll likely weigh significantly less and make the bike much more aurally appealing!

It's not the first time Suzuki France has rolled out a special edition in recent months; in October 2021 the factory celebrated its EWC crown with a kit to transform the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S950 into race replicas of the endurance machines. It does beg the question as to what Suzuki UK is going to do in order to spice up the market, MotoGP replica of the GSX-S to mark its departure from the world championship?

Maybe not.
