Clarke Devil 7003 3kW Industrial Electric Fan Heater (230V) review

If you have a larger than average workshop or garage and are likely to be spending a lot of time in there over winter, either tinkering with your bike or maybe taking on a restoration project, one invaluable but often overlooked accessory can be an effective, powerful and fast acting.

And one of the most highly rated of all is this industrial standard electric fan heater from Clarke. It’s portable and extremely affordable.

The Clarke Devil 7003 3kW Industrial Electric Fan Heater (230V) is available now via Machine Mart, both in-store and online. Part of the vast range of Clarke electric, diesel, space and halogen heaters, the Devil 7003 is a best seller and it’s easy to see why.

Priced at just £75.59 it’s a straightforward, easy to use but quality design. The main body or barrel is of sturdy steel construction, measures a handy 302mm (long) by 334mm (wide) by 390mm (high) and weighs an easily portable 5.6kg. It’s mounted on a one-piece, tubular steel frame which acts as stand and carrying handle, is adjustable and has an insulated handle and rubber feet for safe and secure carrying and positioning.

While on top of the main body is the simple control panel with high and low heat settings with adjustable thermostatic control. There is also thermal cut-out overheat protection, the heating element is covered by a protective grille, and it’s powered by a normal household 230V 13A supply to give a maximum output of 3kW.

It all works brilliantly and easily, is simple to use, convenient yet robust, and provides virtually instant, directional heat with lots of reassuring safety.

But don’t just take our word for it, the Clarke Devil 7003 is also a best seller in its category and has received dozens of positive reviews from buyers on Machine Mart’s website, such as this, from Rupert:

“Fantastic heater. Easy to use, very efficient and warms up quickly. A great buy.”

Or this, from Barry: “Works very efficiently as explained by very helpful staff.”
