1983 KAWASAKI Z750 L3
MOT - Valid to October and on SORN
Nut & Bolt restoration,

Price reduced from £3750 to £3350

Loads of documented paperwork & 2 O.E.M L4 nose fairings (rare as hens teeth) & amazingly rare uncut rear mudguard/fender. Fabulous bike that is so so rare & will surely double in value quickly. (Just look at 400 Four values or CB750's and frankly these are prettier, quicker & bullet proof engines...and rarer!) Engine has done 31,000 miles & had work done but not sure how much. Runs extremely quietly though.

History of bike
this zed was restored by a mr sumnall i believe who bought the bike on
11th march 2009 & sold it to last owner fully restored on 7th march 2018. the last owner
did a couple of more bits like new starter motor (£222) in aug 2019 but mostly stored
and rode to a couple of events. I bought and not ridden it. Consequently it is in magnificent "museum" condition
albeit not 100% original (for the rivet counters) with lovely motad neta period exhaust
4 into 1 with black chromed downpipes, stunning red "candy paint" finish & braided hoses
otherwise extremely original uk bike right down to rear mudguard/fender. I was also given
two (i'm told genuine) bikini fairings with one dark screen & proper mounts (from usa)
that are worth a few hundred pounds in themselves (apparently if they
have holes for mounting in the sides then they're naff fibreglass copies). i also have a thick
folder of old mot's, v5 & 41 yes 41 invoices for parts etc. detailing the restoration.
oh & one teeny tiny fault (i think due to lack of use) is the speedo works
but needle sticks at 30mph and won't go below but goes up ok. Last owner informed
me very easy fix - just needs lubrication - but i don't do mechanics!

it has an mot until oct 2020, 2 keys, original owners manual under the
recovered seat, haynes manual, clymer manual & preparation manual
full hpi report showing original uk bike not subject to
insurance claim, no number plate changes & correct vin/engine numbers
with a total of 7 previous owners.

there are receipts for various engine/carb work including shims & jets & gasket sets
and it has done 31,000 miles but sounds extremely quiet with no oil weeps i can see
& these engines apparently can go to the moon & back.

i am very close to keeping it for myself as it is such a lovely example of a rare bike
that i am sure will appreciate rapidly i but don't currently really have the space
and will probably regret selling it.

so there you have it - a beautiful restored rare collectable pocket rocket
for less than 4k, just look at cb750 four prices, or earlier kawas, or kettles,
or rd's, four 100 fours & think where this will go. Also, the man hours
& money that must have been ploughed into it. Plus they're a hoot to ride
with more than enough power
