The MX system is also available with a carbon fibre silencer, both of which also meet Euro5+ standards and deliver the same power increase of 1.1 hp (1bhp) at 8,000rpm and 0.6 Ib-ft of torque at 5,000rpm.

The two MX options will also shed a total of 2.2 kg off the bike’s overall weight, while the Rally Raid system is nearly identical in terms of weight savings at 2.1 kg. In terms of power and torque gains, the Rally Raid system produces 1.1bhp more than the stock version, while torque is increased by 0.8 Ib-Ft at the same 5,000rpm.

The third and final exhaust system is the SC1-X, which like the MX range, has two silencers within it. They are again made from titanium and carbon fibre, and offer the same weight savings as the MX versions (2.2 kg).

Power and torque increases are also the same, meaning KLE500 owners will gain 1bhp at 8,000rpm and 0.6 Ib-ft of torque at 5,000rpm from either of these options, which cost around £400.
