Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX and Versys 1100 confirmed for 2027
Kawasaki’s model update heading into 2027 has continued with two staples of its ‘big-bike’ line-up receiving new colours.
Kawasaki’s gentle refresh for 2027 is showing very little sign of slowing down, with the Japanese company’s Ninja 1100SX and Versys 1100 both gaining new colourways.
This comes after Kawasaki introduced a fresh palette across the ZX-6R in August, while the Z1100, Versys 650, Vulcan S and Z500 all followed suit in gaining a fresh look.
Kawasaki also confirmed a very minor colour change for its W230 model, however, the Ninja 1100SX goes a few steps further than that, as both the standard model, and the SE variant have gained new options.
Starting with the standard Ninja 1100SX, Kawasaki has revealed a new Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Diablo Black option, while the SE model gains two new trims; Plasma Lime Green/Metallic Diablo Black, and Pearl Stardust White/Metallic Diablo Black.
Both bikes remain unchanged from a mechanical and technical standpoint, which also applies to the Versys 1100 range, despite its considerable colour refresh as well.
Sticking with the company’s big-bodied adventure touring motorcycle, the Versys 1100 will be available in a Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black option.
Meanwhile, the S edition gets a HD Metallic Carbon Gray/HD Metallic Diablo Black trim, while the SE variant adds two new options named, HD Metallic Deep Blue-J25/HD Metallic Carbon Gray, and HD Plasma Lime Green/HD Metallic Diablo Black.
While all three models offer a different spec-sheet, they all use the same 1,099cc inline-four power unit that produces a claimed 133bhp at just 9,000rpm and 82.6 Ib-ft of torque at 7,600rpm.
Customers can also spec their 2027 Versys 1100 to any of three accessory packs, including Tourer, Tourer Plus or Grand Tourer, which can be done through the company’s genuine accessory catalogue at the time of your purchase.
2027 will be a big year for the Versys range in some ways, as it will mark 15 years since Kawasaki debuted the first Versys 1000 motorcycle.
