Kawasaki launches £1,500 part-exchange deal on Z 7 and Ninja 7 Hybrid
Kawasaki is offering £1,500 towards a part-exchange on its Z 7 Hybrid and Ninja 7 Hybrid, with the deal running until the end of September.
Kawasaki is offering riders a £1,500 part-exchange allowance on its Z 7 Hybrid and Ninja 7 Hybrid, in an attempt to make its unusual hybrid motorcycles a little easier to get into.
The offer applies to both models and runs until 30 September 2026. Kawasaki is also promoting the bikes alongside its K-Options finance package, although the exact monthly payment will depend on the deal and individual circumstances.
The Z 7 Hybrid and Ninja 7 Hybrid arrived in 2024 and are notable for being the first mass-produced strong hybrid motorcycles. Both use Kawasaki's 451cc parallel-twin engine alongside an electric motor and a relatively small battery pack, with the system designed to provide a mixture of petrol and electric propulsion rather than simply using electrification as a fuel-saving exercise.
Kawasaki claims the hybrid setup can deliver acceleration comparable with a 1,000cc-class supersport bike while returning fuel economy more in line with a 250cc machine. That's a bold claim, although the hybrid system's real party trick is its ability to switch between different riding modes depending on what you're asking of it.
The bikes can operate using the petrol engine, electric motor or both together, with the rider able to select from several modes. There's also an automated six-speed transmission, making the two Kawasaki hybrids rather different from the conventional manual motorcycles that dominate the market.
Whether that combination is the future of motorcycling remains to be seen, but Kawasaki is clearly keen to get more riders trying it.
The £1,500 part-exchange allowance gives potential buyers another reason to take the plunge, although you'll need to get to a Kawasaki dealer before the offer expires on 30 September.
