Suzuki’s 2026 colour refresh finds its way onto the legendary Hayabusa, with two new variants available.

Suzuki has dipped its toes in the colour refresh bucket once again for 2026, this time giving its Hayabusa a suite of new options.

However, the colour refresh is not the only change for 2026, as the Japanese manufacturer has also confirmed some subtle technical updates, and a tempting offer on an Akrapovic exhaust system.

Said updates include the bike’s selectable throttle maps, which have been tweaked in order to boost torque at lower revs. The cruise control function has also been tickled, with Suzuki saying the system will “remain active during gear shifts”.

The Hayabusa’s launch control has also been refined, while the 2026 model now features an ELIIY Power Lithium Ion battery. These technical updates have all been passed on to the gorgeous Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition.

In terms of new colours, the 2026 Hayabusa gets a very similar white and blue paint scheme as is found on the GSX-8R, which also received new colours alongside the V-Strom 1050RE for 2026.

The white and blue colourway on the Hayabusa doesn’t come with the same blue wheel rims as the GSX-8R, sadly. However, it does feature lush blue accents on the side fairing, under the rear section and at the front by the headlight.

The other paint scheme is an equally lovely black option, which incorporates red accents in exactly the same place as the blue ones found on the white variant.

If the bike’s updates and new paint schemes have still not convinced you fully to go ahead and buy yourself a new Hayabusa, then the company’s special offer on a Akrapovic exhaust might just seal the deal.

Buyers of a new Hayabusa can upgrade to an official Akrapovic exhaust system for just £1,999, instead of paying the full £3,025. Adding the Akrapovic exhaust would take the bike’s on-the-road (OTR) price from £18,599 to £20,598.
