British musician Yungblud suffers broken leg in motorcycle accident at Sturgis

British music star Dominic Harrison, best known as Yungblud, has suffered a broken leg in a motorcycle accident, although the musician is still planning to perform despite the injury. 

According to Billboard, Yungblud suffered his injury while attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, in South Dakota, which took place from August 7-16. As expected, the 2026 Rally proved to be a popular event with both Americans and people from all over the world. 

According to reports, members of the public described this year’s event as a “return to form”, with many local hotels, camping sites and street bars reaching full capacity. 

The Doncaster-born artist was one of the star names in attendance, which included a live performance from Yungblud before suffering the broken left leg.

Yungblud shared details of his injury as part of a social media post on Sunday, August 16, although the singer has vowed to continue his tour with visits to Portugal and Belgium this week.

The post from Yungblud said: 

“Leg fu**ed. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f***ing mad. See you next week. Let’s ride.”

Clearly in good spirit despite his injury, Yungblud somewhat ironically chose Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” soundtrack as the featured song on his post. 

It’s unclear how the accident happened, or what motorcycle Yungblud was riding at the time. That being said, the 29-year-old can be seen riding a blacked out Harley-Davidson in another post on Instagram, which the singer was known to be riding during his visit to the US. 

Yungblud is currently performing his 2025 album Idols alongside his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, One More Time.
