Bristol dealership to celebrate 100-year anniversary with Suzuki GSX-8S giveaway
Bristol-based dealership Fowlers Motorcycles is set to host a 100-year anniversary celebration next month, which includes a prize draw offering a brand-new Suzuki GSX-8S.
If you’re planning to attend Fowlers Motorcycles’ 100th anniversary event on September 5, you could leave with a brand-new Suzuki GSX-8S, for free.
The dealership was founded in 1926 and has since grown into one of the UK’s largest dealers. I have visited Fowlers myself, and if you’re a local who has yet to experience the venue, or you’re someone passing through the Bristol area, then it’s well worth a visit.
However, if you head there on September 5, there will be a plethora of activities going on alongside the main prize draw featuring the above-mentioned GSX-8S.
Fowlers is set to host a free all-day party at their showroom in the centre of Bristol, with doors opening at 9am. The opening hours have also been extended to 7:30pm due to the large crowds expected.
Also in attendance will be award-winning motivational speaker and motorcycle adventurer, Vanessa Ruck. AKA ‘The Girl on a Bike’, Ruck will host the event and will be joined by numerous celebrities, plus rising British Superbike star Max Cook and Moto3 rider Eddie O'Shea.
Additionally, Triumph will be one of the headline manufacturers taking part in the event, with its Demo Truck set to sit alongside displays from major clothing and accessory brands, as well as local clubs and charities. There will be race simulators for people to try out, which includes testing out your on-track skills.
DJ Chunky will be in charge of providing music throughout the event, while the mezzanine area, which is positioned above the showroom floor, will offer food and drinks. There will also be further refreshments and a giant hog roast located in the car park.
Fowlers will also reveal the winner of the ‘Bike of the Season', which will be selected from this year's previous Bike Night winners by the public. Finally, the winner of the Suzuki GSX-8S, and other prizes, will be revealed at the end of the day. The prize draw is free to enter, as is entry to the event.
