Borsoi’s full statement says:

Attention

I have been informed that some people are contacting others using my name, offering access and passes to MotoGP races in exchange for money.

This is not me. It is a scam.

Please do not trust anyone contacting you on my behalf with such requests.

Thank you

Gino Borsoi

Borsoi's social media post can be seen below, however, it is written in Italian. The 52 year-old is a former grand prix racer, who has held the position of Pramac team boss since the start of the 2023 season.

During his time as team boss, Borsoi and the Pramac Racing team have achieved a huge amount, which includes overseeing Jorge Martin’s title win in 2024. Martin became the first rider in the MotoGP era to win the championship as a non-factory team rider. The Spaniard is also the first person to achieve that feat since Valentino Rossi won the premier class title in 2001.

That being said, success has not been as easy for Pramac Racing of late, after the team switched machinery at the start of 2025.

The team left Ducati in favour of Yamaha, but since making the switch to the M1, the team has yet to taste victory with any of its riders.
