Suzuki reveals special edition Hayabusa
Not one to mess with a good thing, Suzuki offers the very lightest of changes to one of its most iconic models.

One of the reasons Suzuki feels confident offering a warranty of up to 10 years on its bikes is the fact that it is a strong believer in the ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ philosophy.
For example, when was the last time the Haybusa got a proper overhaul? Answer: it doesn’t matter. The Busa is timelessly brilliant at hurtling you straight toward the horizon with unnerving ease.
And now you can get it in a special-edition Pearl Vigor Blue livery. Featuring “contrasting white trim, accents, and decals, including a bold kanji symbol on the fairing,” the 2026 special-edition Hayabua also features a black finish on the tips of its twin stainless steel exhausts.

(By the way, the Hayabusa was last updated four years ago. Editor Toad Hancocks put it through his paces; you might want to read his review of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa.)
Powered by a liquid-cooled 1340cc inline four, the 2026 Hayabusa represents the third generation in a line of iconic machines stretching back more than a quarter of a century. It claims a peak power output of 187 bhp, but more importantly it delivers a colossal 111 lb-ft of torque. There’s a reason these bikes remain the kings of drag strips.
When it was last updated, the Hayabusa received a comprehensive technological update that included a six-axis IMU governing ABS, traction control, and anti-wheelie systems. It was also equipped with launch control, cruise control, and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Priced at £18,999, the 2026 special edition Hayabusa is available from Suzuki dealerships now. There’s your Christmas shopping sorted.
