Suzuki GB has already sold more motorcycles in 2026 than the whole of 2025

Suzuki GB has confirmed a huge increase in motorcycle sales compared to 2025, with more than 1,000 extra units sold year-on-year. 

This has contributed to a 62 per cent increase in total sales this calendar year, meaning more motorcycles have already been sold in 2026 compared with the entirety of 2025. 

One of the reasons behind the increase in sales has been the Japanese manufacturer’s willingness to reduce the overall prices of its models. In the last year alone, Suzuki has revealed price realignments across 13 of its road-going models, including the GSX-S1000GX+, which has seen its OTR (on the road) price reduced by nearly £3,000. Additionally, the company has also dropped £1,000 from the original prices of its modern classic GSX-8T and GSX-8TT bikes, both of which are part of Suzuki’s recently expanded range.

Speaking of the brand’s growing line-up, we must make mention of the returning GSX-R1000R, and the newly-launched SV-7GX, which was unveiled at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, last November. 

The GSX-R1000R is one of the company’s most iconic models, while the SV-7GX offers a very affordable way into the middleweight sports touring segment at £6,999.

As well as the new models and price realignments, Suzuki also introduced an industry-leading 10-year warranty scheme as part of its new approach to improving sales. 

Speaking about the company’s recent sales growth, Suzuki GB’s director of motorcycles, Paul de Lusignan, said: 

“We outlined a clear direction and plan at our dealer conference in February, and six months later we are already seeing the results. We are focused on increasing volume and returning to a higher market share. 

“Our pricing realignments, combined with a broader model range and clear marketing strategy, are already delivering benefits. This is positive news for us and our dealer partners, who are selling more products and creating additional opportunities through accessories and aftersales services.”

One of Suzuki’s best-performing motorcycles in terms of sales so far this year has been the GSX-S1000, which has sold a total of 326 units across the UK.
