New Ducati Desmo450 EDS added to DRE Adventure Academy training range
Ducati has added the new Desmo450 EDS to its growing DRE Academy model range, with 1-2-1 coaching now available aboard the enduro motorcycle.

Ducati’s first modern enduro motorcycle can now be ridden as part of the company’s official Desmo450 EDS Try Out Days initiative.
After entering the off-road segment with the motocross-focused Desmo450 MX, Ducati then turned its attention to the enduro scene with the new Desmo450 EDS, which landed in UK dealerships at a price of £11,245 earlier this summer.
Built on the same platform as the Desmo450 MX, the new enduro model takes those foundations and reshapes them in the form of a larger 8.5-litre fuel tank, revised suspension, a six-speed gearbox, additional protection and a retuned version of Ducati's unique Desmodromic 449.6cc single-cylinder engine.

Ducati is also the only manufacturer that provides a Desmodromic valvetrain in the class, making its enduro motorcycle a one-of-a-kind machine, to some degree. The bike’s unique enduro engine setup, and other features such as fully adjustable 49mm Showa upside-down forks that offer 310mm of travel, Kashima coating on the fork legs, specifically tuned for enduro purposes, a fully adjustable Showa monoshock with 301mm of travel, a cast aluminium swingarm, Brembo brakes with single Galfer discs – 260mm (front) and 240mm (rear) – and finally, Metzeler Six Days Extreme tyres, can all be enjoyed through the Italian manufacturer’s training scheme.
The Desmo450 EDS Try Out Days programme offers professional 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 coaching, with a focus on improving your off-road riding skills and confidence.

You can book your place on the full day course by heading over to Ducati’s official DRE Academy website. The course costs £350 and takes place at the company’s Adventure Academy base in Powys, Mid Wales.
Ducati has also launched a new Road to Off-Road Adventure course, which joins the brand’s Multistrada Experience, DRE Adventure, where riders get to ride the 2026 DesertX, and the new Desmo450 EDS Try Out Days.
The Road to Off-Road Adventure course is designed to let attendees learn advanced control techniques when riding off-road, before taking their new set of skills onto the road.
