Arguably the crown jewel when it comes to rare British cafe racers, this Norton Dominator ‘Naked’ is one of just 24 believed to have been produced, and it is up for auction in the UK.

With Norton’s new range coming to dealerships in 2026, models like this, which were already considered collectors’ items, could become even harder to come by.

The Dominator ‘Naked’ was first introduced in 2017, and it features a hand-made aluminium fuel tank with a brushed finish. Additionally, it uses a healthy amount of carbon-fibre elements, including a carbon-fibre fairing above the headlight. It also features an air-cooled 961cc parallel-twin that’s mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes add to the bike’s premium appeal, while LEDs are found both front and rear. According to the listing from Collecting Cars, the bike rides on a pair of 17-inch cross-spoke wire wheels with gloss-black rims, with Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier tyres part of the setup, too.

As you can see from the images, the bike features a black frame, black foam seat pads and Norton’s ‘N’ emblem. Furthermore, a grey Union Flag is painted on the rear cowl.

This particular example also features billet aluminium levers and a “Megaphone straight-through exhaust system”. However, the bike’s original items will be included as part of the sale.

The bike was first registered in January 2019 and, according to the listing, it has done roughly 124 miles. The bike will need to undergo an MoT before it can be legally ridden on the road, while its most recent maintenance check was carried out in the summer of 2022.

Bidding will close in six days time (Sunday, 8 March), with the current highest bid set at £1,600. You can find out more information about the bike on the official Collecting Cars website.
