Sena is set to provide 90 communication systems for riders, marshals and organisers of the 2026 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy, which takes place from September 13-18, in Romania.

The intercom specialist will act as an official partner of the race, with teams set to receive BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 GS and Sena 60X units throughout the event.

But it’s not just competitors, marshals and the organisers that will benefit from this new partnership, as Sena’s Expand Mesh Multi-Sport headsets will allow photographers and videographers to stay in touch with teams.

The new set-up focuses mainly on the BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 GS, with 55 units set to be provided.

The system has been co-developed by Sena and BMW, and can be integrated into the new BMW GS Rallye Carbon helmet.

To make group communication easier, the system uses Mesh Intercom and combines microphone noise reduction with second-generation HD speakers.

As well as the 55 BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 GS, Sena will provide 25 60X systems which feature Mesh Intercom, Sound by Bose and a new joystick designed for use with gloves.

Speaking about the new agreement with BMW, Vlada Bokza, European Motorcycle Marketing Manager at SENA, said:

“It is at the heart of the action that we truly understand how our intercoms are used, what works perfectly and what we can still improve. The Int. GS Trophy 2026 puts us directly in contact with riders and their needs.”

Finally, the company will throw in 10 Mesh Multi-Sport headsets, enabling members of the organisation that are travelling by car, including photographers and videographers, to stay in communication with teams on the ground without needing to wear a motorcycle helmet.
