Underneath the graphics, the Nippon street helmet is designed in Europe with an emphasis on bringing plenty of features to a helmet that only costs £209,99.
The Y.100R is one of the company’s most popular helmets, and it could stay that way after the release of this new collection, which includes four colourways in total.

The Indigo Blue stands out the most thanks to its bold appearance, while the Black, Nippon White and Grey variants offer a more neutral look.
Nexx has built the Y.100R using a lightweight Polyfusion shell that’s shaped specifically for aerodynamic performance. This idea is reinforced by the lid's double-blade rear spoiler aimed at reducing drag and neck strain.
The helmet, which Nexx says is most popular with street and sports-touring riders, also claims to offer a wide field of view, low wind noise and efficient ventilation.
Additionally, the helmet’s X-SWIFT quick-change visor system allows riders to swap visors in under eight seconds, according to the company. A Pinlock 70 anti-fog insert has also been fitted as standard.
Keeping with the helmet’s practical approach, the hypoallergenic X-Mart Dry liner is moisture-wicking, breathable and fully removable.
Safety has also been taken care of in detail, with the Y.100R Nippon gaining ACU Gold approval for track use in the UK.

Finally, the helmet can be paired with Nexx’s X-COM3 and X-COM3 Pro Bluetooth intercoms, and is available as we speak in sizes XS–XXL.
