Norton Motorcycles begins UK deliveries of all-new Atlas adventure bike
After making its global media debut in Iceland last month, deliveries of Norton’s all-new 585cc Atlas adventure bike begin in the UK.
Norton has begun deliveries of the new Atlas adventure motorcycle in the UK and some European markets, following its global media debut in July.
The all-new Atlas motorcycle is the company’s second bike to officially land in dealerships since the brand’s ‘Resurgence’, and it is the first to do so in the middleweight adventure segment.
The Atlas is part of a two-model line-up within the brand’s new range, which also includes the more road-focused Atlas GT.
Norton’s new middleweight is set to compete against the likes of Yamaha’s Tracer 7, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, and Suzuki SV-7GX.
Powering the Atlas and Atlas GT models is the same liquid-cooled 585cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 69bhp at 9,300rpm and 42.4 of torque at 7,500rpm.
As part of its phased rollout, the new Atlas adventure bike is now available in the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain, with India and the United States set to follow.
Like the Manx R superbike, which was the company’s first 2026 model to land in dealers, the Atlas was designed and engineered at Norton’s headquarters in Solihull.
Norton’s UK base also serves as the primary global production facility for the manufacturer, although Norton is utilising TVS Motor’s facility in Hosur, India, for production of the Atlas.
Priced at £8,250, the Atlas makes use of fully adjustable KYB suspension and a 19-inch front wheel, a Bosch six-axis IMU, lean-sensitive ABS and traction control, plus five riding modes: Urban, Rain, Sport, Tour and Enduro. Additionally, the Atlas features cruise control, wheelie control and rear-slide control, an 8-inch touchscreen TFT with navigation, Norton Rider app connectivity and over-the-air software and firmware updates.
