Caberg has launched a new motorcycle helmet specifically aimed at younger riders, in the shape of the new Caberg Avalon X.

The Caberg Avalon X is the latest addition to the 2023 motorcycle helmet range from Caberg, and, although it is not alone in the Italian brand’s range in being a full-face, its specific target audience makes it stand out, somewhat.

Caberg has specifically targeted younger motorcyclists with the Avalon X. That means a variety of graphic options - four, to be specific - alongside two solid options, and a relatively affordable price: €169.99 (£149.86 at time of writing, April 2023) for the solid colour options, and €199.99 (£176.31 at time of writing) for the graphic choices.

In terms of safety, the shell is made from LG Chem Hi-Impact ABS and is available in two sizes. The two shell sizes split the helmet sizes between XS-M for the small shell, and L-XXL for the large shell. The Avalon X also has ECE 22.06 certification.

A large anti-scratch main visor has been used on the Avalon X, and has been made to fit with the helmet's Fog City anti-fog lens as well as the the Double Visor Tech (DVT) sun visor.

Comfort has also been considered, with ventilation intakes and exhausts “strategically positioned,” a Caberg press release reads, with the intakes themselves being adjustable. Breathable fabrics have also been used on the interior of the helmet, and can be removed for washing.

The Caberg Avalon X is also equipable with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo system, or the intercom system of your choice. The helmet also passed the ECE 22.06 certification with the Pro Speak Evo system installed, so the system does not compromise the safety.

Check out the Caberg Avalon X, and the whole 2023 range from the Italian brand, on the Caberg website.
