The Goodwood Festival of Speed saw the stunning Langen Two Stroke take to the hill, with Jenny Tinmouth at the helm

Langen Two Stroke -01

LANGEN Motorcycles got the chance to show off its stunning Two Stroke at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, as Jenny Tinmouth took the bike up the hill for one of its first public outings of 2021.

Due to be officially unveiled at the Festival of Speed last year, the team at Langen were lucky enough to get the call when the 2021 running of FoS was given the go-ahead as a pilot event by the government.

Taking to the famous hill was road racing legend Jenny Tinmouth, who was wowing the crowds and giving them a nostalgic whiff of one of the only current two-stroke motorcycles available for sale. The event was also the first time the general public got a chance to see and hear the Langen at speed, with pretty much all its other outings being static displays and shows.

The bike is created around a 250cc, two-stroke engine that produces 75bhp. With its lightweight hand-built frame, extensive use of carbon fibre and minimalist yet stylish design, the Langen boasts a phenomenal power to weight ratio of 660bhp per ton!

Away from the engine, the Two Stroke is a smorgasbord of delicious design details, with CNC machined parts and carbon fibre literally everywhere. Top-spec Öhlins is mated to a Ktech piggyback rear shock absorber, while braking is taken care of with some juicy looking HEL billet calipers biting down on 320mm discs.

Langen Two Stroke burnout!

We caught up with Langen at the show, and they have assured us the first example will be getting is road registration work done in the coming weeks. We’ll be popping along to the factory to see how it’s all going.
