Kawasaki adds more style to Ninja 1100SX with two new colours
Kawasaki’s extensive colour refresh for 2026 is not over, just ask the Ninja 1100SX range, as two new colours have been added.

Kawasaki has already updated several models as part of a busy summer refresh for 2026, but the aesthetic tweaks have continued with the Ninja 1100SX range next to benefit.
If you’re anything like me and love a colour refresh, then you will likely have been following Kawasaki’s updates throughout the summer.
It started with the mid-capacity Versys 650 getting new colours as part of a ‘light’ 2026 update. Then it was the turn of its big-brother, the Versys 1100, as new colour options were added to both the S and SE models.
Many colour tweaks (across several models) later and the Ninja 1100SX sport tourer range has come into focus for those reasons.

Starting with the standard Ninja 1100SX, it gains a new Metallic Brilliant Golden Black/Metallic Carbon Grey option. However, the SE model gets two new options which are Metallic Deep Blue/Metallic Diablo Black, and Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Diablo Black.
Both bikes will be available to buy in their new guise from January 2026, with the Ninja 1100SX set to cost you £12,399. The higher-spec Ninja 1100SX SE comes with a steeper price tag of £14,149.
As part of its most recent mechanical update, the 1100SX model gained an extra engine capacity of 100cc compared to the 2024 model. The Ninja 1100SX and its SE sibling are supported by three ‘Edition’ models which are Tourer, Performance and Performance Tourer.

The SE model gets its higher price tag because of its Brembo M4.32 calipers, which are complemented by a Brembo master cylinder and steel-braided brake lines. An Öhlins S46 shock absorber is also part of the setup, which is not the case for the standard version.
Engine-wise the two models are the same, producing 134bhp at 9,000rpm and 83.3 Ib ft of torque at 7,600rpm. Both machines also feature the same 41mm inverted fork suspension setup at the front of the bike, with compression and rebound damping and adjustable spring preload.
