Royal Enfield’s Himalayan and Guerrilla 450 models look set to be joined by a new Scram 450 in 2027, according to reports from India.

The new Scram 450 will be positioned as somewhat of a bridge between the Himalayan 450 adventure bike, and the Guerrilla 450 roadster, but according to Autocar India, there’s likely to be tweaks made to the chassis and styling.

The Scram family was born in 2022 when Royal Enfield unveiled the Scram 411. The company then debuted the Scram 440 at the start of 2025, in India.

Based on the same 452cc Sherpa platform as the above-mentioned Himalayan and Guerrilla 450s, the Scram 450 is expected to get a 19-inch front, which is smaller than the 21-inch wheel that’s found on the Himalayan.

However, expect the same 17-inch rear wheel set-up that’s used by both the Himalayan and Guerrilla 450. In terms of suspension, reports say the Scram 450 will use a USD fork like the Himalayan, which is different to the telescopic fork found on the Guerrilla 450.

Where the Scram 450 does appear to resemble the Guerrilla machine slightly more than the Himalayan, is the shape of its tank. However, the seat and rear section are expected to be unique to the Scram 450 in terms of its design.

The new bike is also expected to feature a single-piece seat, which will be flanked by number boards on both sides. It appears as though the new model could benefit from a more circular exhaust system compared with the one found on its siblings, too.

Given it will be using the same 452cc single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan and Guerilla 450, expect power to be around the same 40 PS (29.4bhp). Torque will also be similar if not identical at 25.9 lb ft.

Additionally, the new Scram 450 will likely feature switchable dual-channel ABS, multiple riding modes, and a slip/assist clutch as well.
