KTM celebrates Dakar win with two 450 Rally Replica models
KTM has revealed two very expensive and very limited 450 Rally Replica models to celebrate its 2026 Dakar success.
KTM has revealed two limited-edition 450 Rally Replica models, including a special Luciano Benavides Factory Edition, both of which come with huge price tags.
The standard 450 Rally Replica will be available in just over 100 units, and is priced at £33,148. Meanwhile, the Benavides Factory Edition rises to £42,544.
Since 2020, KTM’s 450 Rally machine has helped four different riders win the Dakar title, meaning it’s no surprise that the Austrian brand is celebrating its continued success.
At the heart of the bike is the brand’s 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox and a premium-spec Brembo hydraulic clutch with rally-specific gearing.
One of the standout features of the bike is its fuel tank, which has a vast capacity of 34.5 litres. The bike’s titanium Akrapovič exhaust system helps to shed weight, while suspension is handled by WP at both ends of the bike. Brembo brakes are also featured; however, KTM has not yet revealed the full spec sheet.
The new model is equipped with dual radiators, an aluminium alloy tapered handlebar that is fitted with rally-tested rubber grips, and footpegs that use a wider surface area for better grip.
The standard 450 Rally Replica has also switched back to KTM’s traditional orange colour scheme, although that’s where the most obvious difference lies between the two models, as the new Benavides edition features the full Red Bull KTM livery.
Other features include a smattering of factory carbon parts, including the brake disc guards and tank pads, while the ‘LE’ (meaning limited-edition) numbered emblem sits on the frame.
Like in 2025, the title-winning Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Team will once again be guests of honour on the 2026 KTM Adventure Rally. The annual event is already sold out, however, new Benavides Factory Edition customers that are attending the event will receive their new machine from the Dakar champion himself, while also receiving a signed race jersey and on-the-ground support from the race team for the riding days.
The 450 Rally Replica will be available from July, although both models are available to order as we speak.
