After revealing the 2026 Brutale 800 last October, MV Agusta has now added a new premium livery to its 111bhp naked.

The new livery is officially named Nero Carbonio, which translates in English to Carbon Black. And while mechanically and technically unchanged compared to the existing Matt Red option, the bike’s price has risen from €12,600 (about £10,915 at current exchange rate), to €13,100 (around £11,350).

According to MV, the new colourway gets its premium touch “thanks to an additional clear coat layer”, while the livery is also accompanied by Rosso Ago accents and red wheels.

At the heart of the Brutale 800 is the company’s 798cc triple, which produces its 111bhp at 11,000rpm, as well as 62.6 lb-ft of torque at 7,500rpm.

The Brutale 800 makes use of a fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi USD fork, which is paired with a Sachs monoshock at the rear that’s equally adjustable.

Stopping power comes from new Brembo M4.32 four-piston calipers with twin 320mm floating discs up front. At the rear is a twin-piston caliper again from Brembo, which bites down on a 220mm single disc.

Bridgestone S22 tyres and MV Agusta's signature single-sided swingarm are also part of the set-up. Additionally, rider information is displayed across a 5.5-inch TFT dash, while four riding modes are available, including Rain, Sport, Race, and Custom.

The new Carbon Black variant is also complete with MV Agusta’s full electronics package, which is now standard across all 2026 models.

The decision to offer the full suite of electronics at no extra cost is in contrast to a growing norm in the industry, whereby brands will fit all electronic options to a bike, and then charge customers to ‘unlock’ the extra features. The new Carbon Black edition is also available with MV Agusta’s five-year warranty.
