The 8TEN Racing team, led by Peter Hickman and Davey Todd, has revealed its 2025 colours for the Isle of Man TT, which gets underway later this month.

After battling on the roads with different teams last season, Hickman and Todd will be doing so as teammates this year, as part of the newly-formed 8TEN Racing outfit, which both riders co-own.

Set to race the Superstock and Superbike TT races aboard a BMW M1000 RR, Hickman and Todd’s new colours include heavy sponsorship from drinks company, Monster Energy.

As you can see from the picture above, the bike is also heavily kitted out in carbon fibre parts as well as featuring a full Akrapovic exhaust system.

Hickman and Todd were already scheduled to compete as teammates before deciding to co-own the 8TEN Racing team, however, their former team, FHO Racing, cancelled its road racing plans in 2025.

That left both riders needing to find a seat for the new season, but instead of finding a one-rider team, the pair worked together in order to construct the new-look BMW squad.

The 2025 Isle of Man TT gets underway on May 26 and ends on June 7, and while it’s been a race against time to get the new team in place in advance of the event, Hickman and Todd are hopeful of a strong showing.

Hickman, a 14-time winner on the mountain course, said: “Last year’s TT wasn’t the best for me on the big bikes, we all know that, but I’m aiming to rectify that in 2025. It’s been non-stop since the new team was announced and I can’t thank everyone for their efforts; everyone’s been working above and beyond so to have the bikes looking how they are now is testament to all their hard work.

“The bikes look absolutely mint and it’s time to go racing now and I can’t wait. The TT is obviously at the top of my agenda and I’m just excited to get back out on the Mountain Course.”

Todd became a first-time winner at the Isle of Man TT in 2024 as he ended the event with two wins to his name.

He added: “Everyone knows we’re a little bit behind where we want, and need, to be but all the guys at 8TEN Racing have been working incredibly hard and to see the Superbike now in its official Isle of Man TT livery is superb; I’m just so excited! I spun some laps on the bike at the recent Oulton Park test and we’re all eager now to get going properly. Pete and I have been working hard, both on and off track, and I just can’t wait to get going. Last year’s TT was incredible for me and we’re all working hard to achieve more of the same in 2025.”
