The Chinese motorcycle company Benda has just launched two brand-new Roadster models, that while similar in many ways, offer slight differences in their appearance.

Like the new Capra 700 adventure bike, which was also unveiled at EICMA, both the Vinster 700 and Vinster X 700 are powered by the same 691.6cc liquid-cooled V2, an engine which they share with the Benda Rock 707, too.

The Vinsters will also produce the same 72bhp at 9,000rpm and 50 Ib-ft of torque at 6,500rpm as their new adventure sibling.

Additionally, the double-cradle frame, aluminium swingarm, and suspension are all shared between both Vinster models.

The front suspension setup features upside-down telescopic forks offering 135mm of travel, while a hydraulic shock produces 120mm of travel at the rear.

Two-channel ABS is also found front and rear, with stopping power handled by single discs at both ends of the bike, together with a four-piston caliper (front) and two-piston caliper (rear).

Where things begin to differentiate is their style, with the Vinster 700 adopting more of a traditional roadster, while the X model takes on a more touring-inspired look.

The Vinster 700 makes use of 17-inch wheels, while the X variant rides on a 19-inch front. Seat height is also different between both models, with Benda claiming 830mm for the Vinster 700, and 865mm for the X.

Prior to EICMA 2026 getting underway, Benda confirmed it would be entering three new segments, one of which is the above-mentioned Roadster category. At the heart of its decision to do so was its V2 platform, with Petr Badura, Transportation Designer at Benda Motor Europe, saying:

“The Vinster started with a designer’s idea that captured everyone’s imagination. We already had the 700cc V2 engine from our cruiser range, and we began asking ourselves: why not build a roadster around it? From the outset, we wanted to create a contrast between carefully sculpted bodywork and the raw, mechanical character of the V2.

“The engine is the heart of the motorcycle, and rather than hiding it away, we wanted to celebrate it. That contrast defines the Vinster and gives it a clear identity in the mid-size Roadster segment.”
