Clarke PRO360 19 Piece ½in Drive Ratchet & Socket Set review

For any budding home mechanic, a good quality set of sockets in all the most relevant sizes is virtually indispensable – but with so many available and with prices ranging into hundreds of pounds it’s difficult to find one that both satisfies your needs AND is available at an affordable price.

Fortunately, tool specialists Machine Mart have a huge range available and this quality, but keenly priced set should be perfect for most with the bonus of costing well under £40.

The Clarke PRO360 19-Piece 1/2in Drive Ratchet & Socket Set comprises 18 sockets in the most likely useful metric sizes for a home motorcycle mechanics, comes with a sturdy ratchet 1/2inch drive and even has its own handy clip-on holder to help keep everything organised.

It also costs a very affordable £35.98 and like all Clarke products is also available now via Machine Mart’s extensive range of stores nationwide or online.

The 18 sockets are all made from high-quality Chrome Vanadium Steel for increased longevity and are in metric sizes 8-20mm inclusive and also 23, 24, 27, 30 & 32 mm.

While the drive is also in Chrome Vanadium Steel and has a reversible ratchet handle with quick socket-release mechanism. There’s also a useful plastic storage bracket for carrying or wall mounting. In short, it covers all the basics you need from a set of sockets in a quality way without a premium price.

But you don’t have to take just our word for it, the Clarke PRO360 socket set has also received dozens of positive reviews from buyers on Machine Mart’s website, such as this, from Paul:

“For the money this is a great product. Won’t need it that often but will do the job when I do.”

Or this, from Kevin: “Bought this set to do couple of jobs on my motorcycle and it works great and feels quality.”
