A V2-powered Corsa Corta Evo engine, 129 hp, and a price of £11,299: This is the new Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 that has just landed in the UK.

Sticking with the engine, Moto Morini’s new adventurer also produces 78Ib-ft of torque at 7,000rpm to go along with the 129hp at 8,750rpm. The power unit is a 1,187cc liquid-cooled 87-degree V2 that’s mated to a six-speed gearbox, with an up/down quickshifter and hydraulic slipper clutch.

But beyond the engine, there’s still a lot you need to know about the X-Cape 1200, starting with the chassis which features a mixed aluminium and steel frame with a cast aluminium swingarm.

The new model also gets fully adjustable suspension from KYB, with 48mm upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with progressive linkage, both of which offer 180mm of travel.

Stopping power is handled by a complete Brembo system, including dual 320mm front discs with monoblock radial calipers, and a 280mm rear disc. This is paired with a Bosch Cornering ABS system that can be deactivated when riding off-road.

The X-Cape rides on cross-spoked tubeless alloy wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, which are fitted inside Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3 tyres.

When it comes to tech, the new X-Cape 1200 provides riders with a 7-inch TFT dash, which also features integrated navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, customers receive three-level traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The bike’s rear-facing radar offers blind spot monitoring and a rear collision avoidance system, which flashes the indicators and brake lights when a following vehicle approaches too quickly.

Finally, the new model also comes with heated grips and heated seats for the rider and pillion, which includes three different settings. An adjustable windshield, cruise control, a centre stand, and a forward-facing 1080p dash camera are also included.

The 2026 X-Cape 1200 is available now in three colours; Arctic White, Energy Red, and Viper Black. For an extra £499, riders can have a three-piece aluminium luggage system added.
