Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex brings sportier take on the Sherpa platform
A revised riding stance and new road-biased tyres headline updates to the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex for 2026.

Royal Enfield has added a new, slightly more focused version of its Guerrilla 450 to the 2026 line-up, with the Apex models aimed at riders who want a sportier feel from the same basic package.

The Apex sits on the existing Sherpa platform, using the same 450cc single-cylinder engine producing 40 PS (29.4 bhp) and 40 Nm (25.9 lb ft), but the changes here are more about how the bike looks and feels on the road than outright performance. The riding position has been tweaked with lower, repositioned handlebars, giving the bike a more forward-leaning stance compared to the standard model.

Tyres are also new, with the Apex rolling on 17-inch Vredestein Centauro ST hoops. The tyres are more road-focused than before and are designed to offer better grip, particularly in wet or low-grip conditions. Alongside that, the ride modes have been updated, with Street and Sport settings now able to retain the last-used mode after the ignition is switched off.

Visually, the Apex models get their own identity, with new colour options called Apex Red and Apex Black, along with added details like rim tapes, a rear seat cowl and a colour-coded front cowl. Elsewhere, a new Twilight Blue joins the existing Shadow Ash finish.
Underneath, the Guerrilla 450 remains unchanged, built around a steel twin spar frame that’s set up to balance stability and agility. The focus, as before, is on predictable handling and usable performance, rather than chasing headline figures.

All versions of the bike continue to get Royal Enfield’s Tripper Dash system, a 4-inch TFT display with built-in navigation powered by Google Maps, along with smartphone connectivity for ride data and route guidance.
Alongside the bike launch, Royal Enfield has also teamed up with the Muay Thai brand Fairtex for a limited-edition collaboration. That includes a range of co-branded gear and a custom-built version of the Apex, shown at a launch event in India featuring demo runs and live performances.

Speaking abotu the new bike, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, said:
"The Guerrilla 450 has established itself as a compelling proposition for riders seeking an engaging, street-focused motorcycle that blends everyday usability with spirited performance. With the 2026 updates, we are sharpening that proposition further — introducing a sportier expression with enhanced ergonomics, new road-biased tyres and features that amplify its agile, corner-hungry character. We now offer one machine with two flavours, to let customers choose between an upright, street-first ergonomics with plenty of muscle, or a grippier ride to conquer every corner. The launch also coincides with two important milestones for us as a brand — 125 years of Royal Enfield and 125,000 motorcycles built globally on the Sherpa platform."
Pricing for the Guerrilla 450 starts at £4,995 for the Twilight Blue and Shadow Ash all sitting at that level, while the Apex Black and Apex Red come in slightly higher at £5,050.
The 2026 Guerrilla 450 APEX models are set to go on sale across EMEA markets from April, offering a slightly sharper take on Royal Enfield’s small-capacity roadster.
