ZXMoto 820X ADV breaks cover, could be UK-bound
The Chinese brand ZXMoto is continuing its march into Europe, as a new and updated 820X ADV is revealed.
ZXMoto has hit the headlines this week after images showing a new big-bore adventure bike began to circulate.
Called the 820X ADV, the machine seems to be heavily related to the existing 820 ADV (seen below), albeit with several aesthetic changes.
The biggest update is the front end of the bike, with a new, more aggressive headlight replacing the stacked LED unit we saw at EICMA in late 2025.
Interestingly, the rest of the bike seems to be the same as the EICMA concept, with the frame, sub-frame, engine and chassis components all seemingly carried over to the new model.
Powering the 820 ADV is an 818cc inline three-cylinder engine, and should the new 820X ADV be the very same unit and spec as that, it should be pushing out around 117bhp.
Other electronics found confirmed on the 820 ADV are adaptive cruise, electronic suspension, E-clutch, as well as front and rear cameras.
With a heady spec sheet, you’d expect a sky-high price tag, although as it’s arriving from China, the actual price could be relatively low.
Reports from China suggest the new model has a price tag of €6,100 (around £5,200), although that doesn’t adjust for import costs and taxes, which would likely push that price up once it lands in the UK.
Currently, the ZXMoto UK range covers four models: the naked 500F, the MX250 off-road bike, and the sporty 500RR and 820RR. Given how large the appetite is in the UK for mid- and large-capacity adventure bikes, it seems almost a forgone conclusion that the model would one day arrive here.
