TCX have revealed their Infinity 3 GTX boots, which offer CE-approved protection and seek to provide “comfort and convenience,” as per a press release from TCX Boots.

TCX say that their new Infinity 3 GTX boots are “ideal for both long-distance touring and casual, shorter journeys.”

Talking more about the specifics of this new boot, the Infinity 3 GTX will include a wrap-around heat shield, as well as “a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane,” which means the boot will be “waterproof, breathable and highly comfortable,” according to TCX. The boots are also adjustable via the Velcro for the heat shield, as well as a flywheel dial which TCX describe as “simple but effective.”

TCX’s new boot also comes with reinforcement in “the toe, ankle and heel areas for extra strength,” TCX say, as well as Groundtrax rubber in the outsole for added traction - again of particular benefit to the adventure riders out there.

TCX say, “Inside the boot, there’s a removable Ortholite footbed with long-term cushioning and breathability.” They add, “The boots also feature reflective inserts for high visibility in low-light conditions and are designed to be worn under touring trousers.”

Unfortunately - or fortunately, perspective-depending - the Infinity 3 GTX’s are only available in black, at least for the moment, and in UK sizes 5-13, or EU sizes 38-48.

There will also be a low version of the Infinity 3 GTX, called the Infinity 3 Mid WP. This lower boot will feature “the same technical and safety features as the GTX variation.” Aside from the height of the boot, the only major difference between the GTX and the Mid WP is that instead of the Gore-Tex liner of the GTX, the Mid WP features a T-Dry waterproof membrane. Like the GTX, the Mid WP will be available in black, in UK sizes 5-13 (EU sizes 38-48).

For those wanting to buy the GTX, you will need to part ways with £299.99, or for the Mid WP, £229.99.
