Caberg has announced a new flip-up motorcycle helmet, the Duke X, which will be  introduced in 2023.

Caberg has already announced some of its 2023 line-up of helmets, including the Duke Evo flip-up, and the Duke X is an addition to that established list.

Approved for an ECE 22.06 P/J safety rating, Caberg says the Duke X features an “Attractive design, comfort, safety and maximum attention to detail,” and is the successor to the previous Duke and Duke II models.

Such attention to detail can be found in the chin guard locking mechanism, which locks the chin guard (believe it or not) in the open (or raised) position, preventing it from closing accidentally, and is operated by a selector positioned on the left-hand side of the helmet.

The Duke X also features Caberg’s Double Visor Tech system, meaning the option of a scratch-resistant sun visor behind the main visor when light conditions require it. The system also allows for the sun visor to be lowered when the main visor and chin guard are raised. The main visor is also fog-resistant thanks to double Pinlock lens.

In terms of comfort, the Duke X weighs only 1.55kg (with a variance of +/- 50g depending on size), and features significant ventilation with openings on the chin guard as well as the top of the shell.

Caberg’s Pro Speak Evo communications system is also equipped on the the Duke X, allowing the wearer to listen to music, activate voice control systems on their smartphone, or communicate with their passenger, among other things.

The graphic version will be available in “Matt Black/Anthracite/Fuchsia” (sizes XS-M only) and “Matt Black/Anthracite/Fluo Yellow”.
