Nowadays modern riders love to look back to the past and admire former designs and bikes that have become retro classics. Thanks to the Italian company, Unit Garage, riders can look back to the 1986 Tenere XT 600 design from the Dakar. There will be many riders who will want to add this retro look to their Yamaha Tenere 700 to relive a part of the past.

The blue design and the design of the upper side covers get back to the classic Yamaha desert touring looks from the start. There are other additions to the kit to bring the retro look to life. For example, there is a beaked front fender, retro round LED lights, headlight screens and aluminium skid plate to give it the classic 80’s trail look.

The Tenere 700 classic conversion kit is available in three options: two colours of blue and black but there is also an option for no paint colour. The retro kit is also optimised so it is able to mount directly straight onto the factory mounts of the Yamaha Tenere 700, so the ease of the installation side has been maximised.

The current price for the Unit Garage Tenere 700 classic conversion kit is £1233.80 to just get the standard kit to start of the classic look from 1986. However, there are additional add-ons to complete the classic style. There is also a retro license plate holder (£348.61), a titanium silencer (£483.64), a crankcase cover (£104.14) and finally there is also a cooling kit with a booster pump (£795.18). So, the overall complete cost of the full kit is £2965.37.
