2021 Aprilia RS 660 REVIEW
So, we have finally been given a release date - the Aprilia Tuono 660 is launching February 2021.
Along with the video reveal, we have learned a bit more about the Tuono 660. We found out a bit more about it earlier this month, and it seems the Tuono 660 is being compiled with some top tech and model influences - the RS 660 brings with it the advanced technology, and the original Tuono brings that signature look that we absolutely love.
The style is all here, too. The Tuono itself keeps all of the distinguishing features you’d expect, and was crafted in the wind tunnels of Aprilia HQ, borrowing a few aerodynamic features (the faired wings) from the RS660. It shares a lot with the RS660, but the final ratios have been shortened slightly for optimised response and faster take-off.
Features galore on this bike, of course, and with the diecast aluminium frame and swingarm, Kayaba adjustable suspension and that incredible power-to-weight ratio, it has a wet weight of 183kg and boasts 96bhp - the handling on this machine is guaranteed to be top - it’ll also feature five riding modes, an electronic instrument panel, ride-by-wire throttle, and the engine mapping options built-in - amongst other top tech features like ABS, multi-level traction control, anti-wheelie, and cruise control.
You can pick up the Tuono 660 in Concept Black, Iridium Grey, and Acid Gold, and you’ll expect to pay around £9700 for one of these.
Aprilia promise to share more information over the next few days, so we’ll do our best to keep you up to speed on what could be one of the best bikes of 2021.
