MV Agusta F3 R gets revised price as part of “new phase”
MV Agusta has announced a revised price for its entry-level supersport bike, the F3 R.

MV Agusta has revealed new pricing for the F3 R as part of a “strategic” decision that’s based on the evolving trend of the middleweight supersport segment.
Once dominated by 600cc machines like the Yamaha R6, the middleweight supersport category has also become a home for bigger machines that have gained more and more popularity in recent years. Some examples include the Yamaha R9 and Ducati Panigale V2.

MV Agusta’s F3 series fits the mold of slightly larger-displacement supersport motorcycles, with the F3 R featuring a 798cc three-cylinder engine that produces 145bhp at 13,000rpm and 65Ib-ft of torque at 10,100rpm.
For 2026, the F3 R remains unchanged in every way – except its price, which is now €16,900, in Italy. Calling it a “new phase” for the F3 R, the new price converts to around £14,700.

As was mentioned above, MV Agusta has revised the price of its F3 R because of the changing nature of the supersport category, which is “giving way to a new generation of middleweight sportbikes, designed around more accessible power delivery, improved road usability, and aggressive entry price positioning,” according to the Italian brand.
The Varese-based company also makes reference to recent competitor entries, which it says “reflects a broader industry shift toward ‘headline pricing’, where base models are offered at competitive entry points while key features – including advanced electronics, rider aids, and performance upgrades are increasingly delivered through optional packages, or activation-based systems”.
As part of its standard electronics package, the F3 R gets eight different levels of traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cornering ABS with Sport and Race modes, rear wheel lift-up mitigation (RLM), and cruise control.
The F3 R also features a 5.5-inch TFT colour display, which is fully integrated with the MV Ride App, enabling navigation and route recording.
