The second edition of the Royal Enfield Busted Knuckles Build Off (BKBO) competition will feature six finalists, including an entry from the UK.

The selected finalists were chosen from more than 600 contenders across the EMEA region. Those dealerships will now reveal their final builds at the Bike Shed Moto Show in London, which takes place on May 22-24.

This follows a near six-month build process, where Royal Enfield also handed out a £5,000  customisation subsidy to its participants. Each build uses the Shotgun 650 as its base, which is considered one of the most customisable models across the entire Royal Enfield range.

The final preview for all six BKBO entries will be released online shortly before the Bike Shed event, and each machine will benefit from its own ‘documentary style’ film. These will also be featured across Royal Enfield’s social media platforms.

According to the company, the winner will be selected by combining votes from the public, Royal Enfield itself, and an expert panel of custom motorcycle designers on Sunday, May 24. The winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to Royal Enfield’s Motoverse event later this year.

Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, said this about the competition:

“It makes sense for the final display of Europe’s 2nd BKBO to take place at the Bike Shed Show, an event that focuses on celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and culture surrounding motorcycles.

“It is going to be a real privilege to see the finest work from Royal Enfield’s dealer network take centre stage across the event, showcasing each dealer's unique imagination and skillset as they interpret the possibilities of the Shotgun 650.”
