Two-time FIM World Supercross champion Max Anstie has mutually parted ways with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team, in the AMA Supercross series.

The decision has been made with immediate effect, with Anstie shifting his focus to the world championship once again.

A two-time world champion in the SX2 class, Anstie had become a regular contender for race wins in the American series over the last two seasons. However, his departure from the team will allow him to focus on retaining the SX2 title he won in 2025.

“I’m proud of everything that I achieved with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. It was a dream of mine to ride for the team.
