Ducati’s unbeaten Flat Track World Championship debut continues in Croatia
Ducati’s unbeaten debut in the FIM Flat Track World Championship has continued, in what’s quickly proving to be one of the best opening campaigns in recent memory.

Ducati and racing just seem to yield success no matter the type of championship, or style of motorcycle, after the Italian company’s unbeaten run in the FIM Flat Track World Championship continued last weekend.
Ducati only made its debut in the series this year, but through the first four rounds, it has won all four finals. Two victories have gone the way of Ashton Boughen, while VRX Dirt Store Ducati team-mate Tim Neave has won the two most recent events in Germany and Croatia.
It means that both riders are now locked on 86 points each at the head of the championship standings. Neave’s victory was made all the more impressive after the final was restarted on multiple occasions due to false starts and collisions.

Despite the repeated stoppages, it was Neave that regularly got the holeshot into turn one, as he led the final restart from the very first lap until victory.
Speaking after his second consecutive win, Neave said:
“That one was probably the best one yet. It’s only my second win, but of all my podiums and everything, that was right at the top. That Final was re-started seven times, and every time I got to the front. I was thinking my luck was going to run out in a minute, but we did what we needed to do. We came good when it mattered, and that one was for my partner Lydia!”
Although Ducati has not been as dominant in MotoGP in 2026 as in previous years, the Italian marque remains the brand to beat in many ways. For example, Ducati has not been beaten in WorldSBK so far this year, winning all 21 races through Nicolo Bulega.
But had Bulega not enjoyed such a run of form, Ducati would still have won nearly every race based on who finished second, and sometimes even third. If we combine WorldSBK with the Flat Track World Championship, Ducati has still not been beaten in any of the races/finals.

In MotoGP, Ducati has so far won four Grand Prix in 2026, compared with Aprilia’s six victories. However, in British Superbikes, the brand’s Panigale V4 R has won 11 out of 12 races so far this season, again highlighting just how strong Ducati is across different championships and disciplines. That conversation, it seems, now includes flat track.
