LS2’s best-selling modular helmet gains four new colours
LS2 has launched four new colour options aboard its best-selling Advant X modular helmet, two of which look very similar to a pair of BMW superbikes.

LS2’s best-selling Advant X motorcycle helmet now has four new Nova colourways to choose from, all of which will cost UK customers £329.99.
With the UK currently going through one of its warmest summers in recent memory, there might never have been a better time to buy your next helmet, and if a front-flip lid is what you’re after, LS2’s Advant X could be a contender.
The helmet is fully certified to P/J standards, meaning it can be used in both the open and closed position. Additionally, the Advant X is certified to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standards, and is available in two outer shell sizes.
In terms of ventilation, ports are located at the chin and forehead, while internal channelling through the EPS liner and large exhaust ports are also part of the lid’s air flow setup. Inside the helmet is a breathable, hypoallergenic comfort liner that is both removable and washable.

Furthermore, the helmet weighs just 1600g, which is achieved through the shell’s High Performance Fibreglass Composite (HPFC) construction.
When opening the front of the helmet from the closed position, LS2 says “the opening mechanism holds the chin bar close to the face, so there’s less leverage on the neck and head when opening and closing, and it automatically lifts the visor with the chin bar for hassle-free operation”.
Riders will also benefit from a twin visor system that pairs a scratch and UV-resistant 3D Optically Correct main visor with a drop-down sun visor.
These standard features are also joined by a tinted visor and Pinlock 120XLT MaxVision anti-fog insert, which have been included for free.
However, where the new Advant X might appeal to some is its new set of colourways, one of which looks eerily similar to BMW’s M1000 RR superbike. There’s also a White/Blue/Red colour scheme which seems to take after the German manufacturer’s S1000 RR.

The other two options are called Matt Black/Red and Matt Black/Green/Hi-Vis Yellow, which do not look like a model from BMW’s current two-wheel range.
