Kawasaki’s big 2026 colour refresh stretches to Ninja and Z125 bikes
Kawasaki has continued its big 2026 colour refresh by confirming new Ninja 125 and Z125 variants.

More new colours are coming to Kawasaki motorcycles for 2026, with the entry-level Ninja 125 and Z125 benefiting from two new liveries apiece.
Like much of the Japanese brand’s current line-up, the colour refresh for 2026 is just that, meaning no mechanical or technical changes have been made.
Both the Ninja and Z125 feature a tubular trellis type chassis construction, which is similar to that of Kawasaki’s top of the range supercharged Ninja and Z machines.
The Ninja 125’s more race-inspired look comes from its fully-faired bodywork that is redolent of higher capacity Ninja machines. Compliant with A1-licence holders, it produces 14.7bhp at 10,000rpm and 8.6Ib ft of torque.
As a previous Ninja 125 owner myself, which happened to be my first motorcycle, it holds a special place in my heart. It’s a bike that, despite being an entry-level machine, has plenty of character.

Like the previous model, the 2026 Ninja 125 features a Uni-Trak rear suspension with adjustable preload, 37mm telescopic front forks and ABS brakes. The Z125 gets all of the above, and it comprises the same engine as its Ninja 125 sibling. That means power and torque figures are also unchanged.
Both bikes will be available from October, with the Ninja 125 set to arrive in a Lime Green variant, as well as Metallic Graphite Gray/Metallic Spark Black. The price is unchanged for both at £4,699.
The Z125 gets a Pearl Storm Gray/Ebony (£4,399) livery and a Candy Lime Green/metallic Spark Black option (£4,299).
