Harley-Davidson Unveils New Fat Boy Gray Ghost as Part of Icons Collection
Harley-Davidson has updated its Icons Motorcycle Collection with the introduction of a new Fat Boy Gray Ghost model

The previous four-strong Icons Motorcycle Collection has been added to as Harley-Davidson has taken the covers off its all-new Fat Boy Gray Ghost which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the showstopping cruiser model, and comes with an MSRP of £25,125.
The limited edition motorcycle is full to the rafters with new updates, including its Milwaukee-Eight 117 Custom engine which delivers around 101bhp and 122Ib ft of peak torque, an increase of around seven per cent more power and three per cent more torque over the 2024 Fat Boy 114 model.

The engine used is the same as that of the 2025 Fat Boy and technical parts also remain the same. Available in just 1990 units globally, the new Fat Boy Gray Ghost is finished in a reflective chrome paint scheme which has benefited from a process called physical vapour deposition (PVD).
PVD has been used before by Harley-Davidson but only to finish small parts such as tank medallions and exhaust covers. But its use on the Fat Boy Gray Ghost’s fenders and fuel tank marks the first time PVD has been used on parts this large for a production Harley-Davidson bike.

Furthermore, the new Fat Boy Gray Ghost gets a silver powder-coated frame and various styling features based on the original Fat Boy cruiser. Other noticeable additions include a round air cleaner, yellow accents on the lower rocker covers, powertrain covers, leather seat valance with lacing and tassels and tank console insert.
New riding modes include Road, Rain and Sport, while the limited edition bike gets several new Rider Safety Enhancements from the American brand, such as cornering ABS, traction control, drag-torque slip control and tyre pressure monitoring.

An all-new LED lighting is found aboard the bike as are heated grips as standard and a new five-inch console-mounted display.
“The original Fat Boy model took the look, proportions, and silhouette of a 1949 Hydra-Glide and completely modernized it for a new generation of riders,” said Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design and Creative Director, Motorcycles. “Those riders appreciated our post-war design DNA but also found themselves drawn to the clean simplicity of contemporary industrial design.”
