Bimota to join British Superbike grid in 2026 with FS-3 Racing
Bimota is set to enter the British Superbike Championship in 2026 with FS-3 Racing, after making a solid start to life in World Superbike.

FS-3 Racing is set to end its six-year tenure as the official Kawasaki entry in BSB, as it will instead switch to Bimota machinery for the 2026 season.
Bimota made its debut in the Superbike World Championship earlier this year, as it took over from the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) - the same outfit with which Jonathan Rea won six consecutive titles with. And in its first season the KB998 Rimini has been on the podium four times, all of which have come courtesy of British rider Alex Lowes.

For the 2026 BSB campaign Bimota will again take to the track with its new KB998 Rimini motorcycle. But despite changing from Kawasaki to Bimota, FS-3 Racing will again feature AJN Steelstock as its title-sponsor.
The team will officially be called AJN Steelstock Bimota, and it will use a Bimota chassis but Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-10RR, which is currently the case for the World Superbike-spec KB998 Rimini. The AJN Steelstock team will receive support from Kawasaki’s factory in Japan and the Bimota World Superbike project.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK, said:
“The team and riders have done a fantastic job this season with both riders on the podium and the Ninja ZX-10RR proving to be a great all-round package in this class. With Kawasaki UK taking on the distribution of Bimota in the UK this year, we are delighted to be able to help with the switch of machinery for FS-3 Racing and help showcase the marrying of the Kawasaki and Bimota brands.
“We look forward to bringing a new brand to the grid and focusing on maximising the combination of the Bimota chassis and Kawasaki engine on UK tracks in 2026.”
The announcement was made by Kawasaki UK, which says the rider line up for 2026 will be announced at a later date.
