2026 BSB calendar revealed

The 2026 BSB championship will again feature 11 rounds as it gears up to celebrate its 30th anniversary. 

The provisional calendar includes two pre-season tests at Donington Park (3-4 April) and Oulton Park (22-23 April), before the series returns to Oulton Park on May Bank Holiday weekend (2-4 May) for the season-opener. 

The championship will then return to Donington Park for the first of two rounds at the Midlands-based track on 15-17 May. Round three of the season heads to Knockhill on 19-21 June, before Snetterton (3-5 July) and the Brands Hatch GP (17-19 July) make up rounds four and five. 

Then comes the second Oulton Park round of the season on 31 July to 2 August, which is a change compared to 2025. The Cheshire-based track was part of this year’s Showdown, but that’s no longer the case for next season, as it's getting replaced by the second Donington Park GP round.

To end the first part of the season, riders will head to Thruxton on 14-16 August, while Cadwell Park retains its August Bank Holiday slot on 29-31 August. 

Assen begins the first of three Showdown events on 18-20 September, before Donington Park hosts round ten on 2-4 October. The season will conclude with the second Brands Hatch GP on 16-18 October.

The 2026 season could end up being one of the hardest-fought as Glenn Irwin joins Kyle Ryde at the Nitrous Competitions team, where he will ride a Yamaha R1. Scott Redding is also making his full-time return to BSB, as is Ryan Vickers, who will join Honda after competing for the Motocorsa Ducati team in WorldSBK this year. Other top riders like Bradley Ray will again be on the grid, too.
