Ducati has taken the covers off a new Sport Livery, which it says completes the Monster V2 range alongside the already available Ducati Red and Iceberg White liveries.

The new Sport Livery, which will be available in dealerships starting from April, adds to an already rich list of updates the bike received last October as part of its launch: the main one being the new 890cc V2 engine with IVT (Intake Variable Timing).

And while a small update in comparison, it’s a very pleasing one on the eye, as it adds a more aggressive look to the bike compared with the Ducati Red and Iceberg White colour options.

According to Ducati, the new Sport Livery “draws inspiration from the colour scheme of the iconic S4, the first four-valve Monster in history”. It goes on to say that “the combination of grey with Racing Red on the wheels and details on the seat, flyscreen, tail section and fuel tank creates a look that is both sporty and elegant”.

The Sport Livery is also available for the Monster Plus version, which includes a front fairing and passenger seat cover as standard.

The Monster V2’s new engine is lighter by nearly six kilos compared to the previous Testastretta unit. It delivers 109.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 67 lb ft of torque at 7,250rpm.

The 2026 model also uses a monocoque frame made from aluminium, which is bolted directly to the cylinder heads. A technopolymer trellis-style subframe and a double-sided swingarm are also part of the setup, with the latter taking design cues from the Panigale V4’s hollow version.

Standard equipment on the 2026 Monster V2 includes ABS Cornering, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Engine Brake Control, which is adjustable on multiple levels. Riding information is displayed via a 5-inch colour TFT display.

Additionally, Ducati says the Monster can also be equipped with Cruise Control, while four riding modes are also available.
